Soaring in a Sailplane is a vintage video (1985) that lifted the viewer in a Blanik high performance sailplane above the sun-drenched desert and mountains outside Jacumba, California. From take-off to landing; from dives to spirals to loops; from catching thermals to figure eights; from rolls to wing-overs, to gaining enough altitude to begin all over again, these were the best views of the scenic rolling, cactus-cloaked Laguna Mountains and deep blue skies where civilization has still not left its mark, to this very day, 35 years later.

The composer, Richard Jan Plasko, scored this 30-minute video which is divided into five tracks.
